Postpartum Recovery
Your body went through something significant. Whether you gave birth recently or years ago, you deserve real support in understanding what changed and how to come back from it.
Early Postpartum
The first weeks and months after birth are a lot. Your hormones are changing rapidly, you're sleep deprived, you're healing, and you're taking care of a new human on top of all of it. Your body needs rest, restorative movement, and good nutrition, and most days it's hard enough just getting through the basics.
Not everyone has the capacity to start therapy during this stage, and that's okay. If you do feel ready, we can help you understand what your body is going through, find comfortable positions for feeding, learn how to support your recovery with movement that makes sense for where you are right now, and start addressing any pain or symptoms early. But if this isn't the right time, that doesn't mean you've missed your window.
Further Along the Road
A lot of people come to us months or years after giving birth. They've been living with leaking, pelvic pressure, pain during sex, or a body that just doesn't feel like theirs anymore. They were told these things are "just part of having kids." They may have wanted to address it sooner but didn't have the time, the energy, or the resources, and that is completely understandable.
It doesn't matter if your baby is six weeks old or sixteen years old. These concerns are worth addressing whenever you're ready, and your body can still make real changes no matter how much time has passed.
What We Work On
We see postpartum clients for leaking, pelvic pressure, tailbone and low back pain, hip and pubic pain, pain during sex, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, scar tissue from C-sections or vaginal deliveries, returning safely to running or exercise, and understanding how your core and pelvic floor are working together as your body recovers.
The goal isn't just symptom relief. We want you to understand what's going on, feel confident in your body again, and know how to take care of yourself going forward.
